Great News 18 New Shark And Ray Species Two Makos ..

Great News! 📣 18 new shark and ray species (two #Makos and 16 #RhinoRays) have been given extra levels of protection. Three proposals to include these species under Appendix 2 was formally adopted at #CITESCoP18. This means that they are protected through the regulation of international trade in their products. Malaysia, as a CITES signatory country, would also be required to make informed decisions to protect and ensure the survival of these species locally.
