Update on gorgeous Cuddie!

This poor little girl was hit by a car, badly fracturing her leg. For homeless dogs like this 1-year-old, there are no loving owners to look out for them, so it’s only a matter of time before disaster strikes.

Dogs and cats like Cuddie deserve so much better than miserable lifetimes full of suffering. Please give now so Soi Dog can continue to provide emergency care when they are sick, injured or abused. https://bit.ly/SaveCuddie.

In Thailand, injury, illness, animal attack, human cruelty and even death are constant threats for homeless animals. Fortunately for Cuddie, a kind person saw what happened and rushed to help her. He even fashioned a makeshift splint to make sure her leg wouldn’t be further injured on the bumpy ride to our hospital in the back of his truck.

Once Cuddie arrived, our vets quickly sprang into action. They inserted metal plates into her leg to help the bone heal, and followed up with medication and physiotherapy sessions at the Soi Dog hospital. Once the bone was strong enough, she had the battle of learning to walk again, but she has taken this in her stride! She has recovered remarkably well, and will soon be out of the hospital and on the lookout for a wonderful new home.

Fortunately, unlike many homeless animals, Cuddie wasn’t completely alone in the world. She was what’s known as a temple dog, cared for by monks as best they can, given food and a place to sleep off the streets when these are available.

But countless other homeless animals have no one at all to care about them – except compassionate animal lovers like you. Will you please give now?

We never want to have to turn away any animal who desperately needs our help. https://bit.ly/SaveCuddie.
