My name is Tingly and I barely escaped the jaws of death!

I was found lying on a road nearly lifeless. The only sign of life were occasional convulsions and a quiet howl for help. It was obvious I was fighting for my life. I was rushed into Soi Dogs and the vets determined I had been bitten by a snake, they could not believe I was still alive.

I am thankful the vets were able to treat me so quickly and save my life. As you can imagine, I was terrified and struggling to make sense of what was happening. After some time in the hospital, I regained my strength and felt more comfortable around people.

I am an independent dog but that does not mean I don’t enjoy a little fuss every now and again! It can take me a little while to warm up to new people, but once I do, I will be your protector! Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
