Every year we send dogs to our Partner Rescues in the USA and Canada in order to help re-home the large number of dogs rescued from the exaggerated rabies scare in Northern Thailand.

Fresco and Dante both made the epic journey to the Barking Lot in San Diego in March and April respectively. While they were an unlikely match, a couple came in and fell in love with both boys. This is one #furrytailending that touches many hearts. Thank you for giving these two a life they well deserve.

“We adopted Fresco and Dante in June of this year. When we first welcomed Fresco into our home, he would only hang his head and didn’t know any commands. 5 months has passed and he now carries his head high and is full of sass! He understands Stay, Sit, Place, Down, Wait, Leave it, Drop it! His favorite thing is snuggling up to people and being petted.

We met Dante at a Barking Lot event and he was very quiet, kind, and gentle. Well! At home is also very quiet, kind, and gentle! He likes people and enjoys his time at dog parks. He loves to carry his ball around with him everywhere he goes. Dante is a very dog, dog, who loves playing, snuggling, running, learning, and finding new smells. He is very sensitive and carries his emotions on his sleeve. Personality wise, Fresco and Dante are polar opposites, but they comfort each other and are helping each other adapt to their new life.”

If you have adopted a Soi Dog or Cat please email your #furrytailendings to adoptions@soidog.org. We would love to hear about your story!
