Hornbills have a unique breeding behaviour.

The female will be sealed up in a suitable tree cavity with the eggs and chicks for a few months, till the young ones are fully fledged. The female and chicks are completely dependent on the male for their survival. If the male hornbill is caught or killed, what will happen to its family?
