With over 90% of Phuket island’s stray dog population sterilised, Soi Dog Foundation’s CNVR (Catch Neuter Vaccination Return) programme is now operating in various other locations around Thailand.

Our biggest CNVR project is now in Bangkok.
6 mobile teams consisting of 9 staff each, that includes vets, vet suport staff and dog catchers, aim to reach the same results as in Phuket.
With an estimated dog population of 600,000+ alone, this project has now neutered and vaccinated 184,745 dogs and cats to date.
We are also currently operating in Nakhon Si Thammarat and later this year will re-visit Koh Samui and will operate further South in the Krabi Province.
Individual CNVR projects are planned after careful estimations of the dog population in a chosen area. Decrease in dog numbers can be seen when at least 80% of the population has been neutered.
It is also imporatnt to revisit areas and carry out a post operation evaluation to assess the impact.
Even though it takes time to see results, neutering is the most effective and humane method to solve the population crisis of stray dogs and cats.
Will you help to reach a total of half a million neutered animals by the end of 2020?
YOU are the only one who can help put an end to the suffering of street animals in Asia.
