Over 820 million people suffer from hunger, even more so suffer from being overweight and obese ๐Ÿ˜ž

World Food Day not only aims to raise awareness on tackling global hunger, but also aims to promote healthy and nutritious diets for everyone! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

As we all know, food is one of the many basic necessities for a human being to survive, moreover a nutritious diet! All of us play important roles and we can all collectively help in this cause ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป.

So here are some tips for you to adopt a healthy diet:

๐Ÿ Consume more vegetable ๐Ÿฅ—, fruits ๐ŸŽ and even nuts !

๐Ÿ Say no ๐Ÿ™…โ€ to processed foods ๐ŸŸ and drinks. For starters, you could reduce your intake of carbonated drinks !

๐Ÿ Swap things up: Have the occasional brown rice instead of white rice ๐Ÿš for more nutritional benefit! This includes wholemeal bread too! ๐Ÿž

๐Ÿ Fats: Good or bad? ๐Ÿค” Unsaturated fats (commonly found in fish ๐ŸŸ and nuts) are recommended in a healthy diet, however be aware of trans-fat and saturated fats found in fried foods ๐Ÿค and butter!
