Land snail is an invertebrate that is easily found in urban yards, and they play an essential role at the bottom of the food chain. They rely on a diet rich in calcium and other nutrients to support the growth and repair of its shell and its overall health.

In turn, snails are consumed by various predators that rely on their calcium and other dietary needs for the formation of shells and embryos. A great diversity of animal life feeds upon land snails, from insects to lizards and snakes, birds, and mammals.
