The WWF-Malaysia’s team has carried out several phases of camera trapping studies to understand the current mammals biodiversity in Fraser’s Hill. Among interesting mammals spotted are this chubby tapir who’s not camera shy and this beautiful leopard cat.
.
Did you know, based on the IUCN Red List, Fraserβs Hill is home to three globally Endangered mammals i.e. the Malayan Tapir (ππππππ’π ππππππ’π ), Siamang (ππ¦ππβππππππ’π π π¦πππππ‘π¦ππ’π ) and two mammal species listed as Vulnerable i.e. the Serow (πΆππππππππππ π π’πππ‘πππππ ππ ) and the Malayan Sun Bear (π»ππππππ‘ππ πππππ¦πππ’π ).
.
And yes, these are among interesting topics that will be presented during the Fraser’s Hill Symposium which is tomorrow! For more information, visit https://bit.ly/FHSsite .
