It’s great to hear that Ben’s Independent Grocer and Village Grocer are embarking on a new initiative to eliminate single-use plastic bags from its fresh fruits and vegetables areas and introducing the use of reusable mesh bags instead, which is estimated to eliminate 30 million single-use plastics that customers frequently use for weighed products. Join in this effort by bringing your own bag when you do grocery shopping and don’t forget to exchange your BITES points for a donation to help WWF-Malaysia protect our marine turtles!
