Our beloved Patchy Patch gave us a scare today when he started coughing non-stop. He also refused to eat. He was rushed to Gasing Veterinary Hospital where a heartworm test was thankfully negative. An x-ray however indicated that he had primary lung infection. The vet said the primary infection might be because of heart issued. He has been admitted at Gasing and a heart scan will be carried out on Thurs to check his heart out. Patch is disabled and only has two back legs and one 3/4 front limb. He came to us 8 years ago as a month old puppy.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
