最让人心疼的是，兽医诊断这只可卡犬已经很老、很老了，养了这么多年怎么狠的下心让狗狗老来在街上自生自灭? 唉！

好在幸运的狗狗被附近工作的一位爱心姐姐发现并送往就医，但在没办法处理后续下联系上我们

我们为狗狗取名Caring,

我们尽快安排让她动了切除手术，因为肿瘤很多颗，其中两颗很大，加上担心扩散去更多地方，手术的切口必须切很大

可怜的Caring肚子留下了一个长长大大的Y字型手术疤痕 😢😢 但其实如果一早把狗狗结扎了，她就不需要吃这些苦了！主人也不需因无法承担超昂贵医药费而弃养，结扎真的可以避免很多悲剧！

乳腺肿瘤是母犬中最常见的癌症

通常发生在没结扎、5-10岁的母狗身上，两岁以前就结扎的话发病率非常低

而如果在母狗第一次发情前就结扎，乳腺肿瘤的发病率只有区区0.05%

第一次发情后结扎，得病率是8%

第二次发情后结扎，得病率飙升到26%！😱

This pure breed Cocker Spaniel with five mammary tumors was thrown out of the house by her cruel owner.

The most distressing thing is that the veterinarian diagnosed that this dog is very old. After so many years of raising her, how can the owner be so heartless to let the dog fends for herself at this old age? Sigh!

Fortunately, the dog ​​was rescued by a kind lady working nearby, the lady sent the doggie to the vet clinic, but she seeked for our help where she couldn’t take care of her.

We named the dog “Caring”.

We arranged for her to undergo surgery ASAP. As there are so many tumors and the vet is worried about it spreading to more sites, the surgical incision must be very large to remove the tumors.

Poor Caring left a big Y-shaped surgical scar on her tummy 😢😢 But in fact, if the dog is spayed at her young age, she doesn’t need to suffer these pain! The owner does not need to abandon the dog too because he/she cannot afford the expensive medical expenses. Spay/Neuter can really avoid a lot of tragedies!

Canine mammary tumors are common in un-spayed dogs and dogs spayed after their first heat cycle.

It usually occurs in unspayed female dogs between 5-10 years old. If spayed before the age of two, the incidence can be very low.

And if the dog is spayed before the first heat cycle, the incidence of mammary tumors is only 0.05%.

If spay after the first heat cycle, the disease rate is 8%. And if spay after the second heat cycle, the disease rate soared to 26%! 😱
