Hi, to answer ur question abt the cert, for me if we are bothered abt the authenticity if the said breed, the method of breeding, the health of the kitten, then we should obtain a certified kitten from a reputable registered cattery. I'm no expert on certs or pedigrees, still learning from breeder friends I've made during cat shows, Internet, books and forums :) I have not heard of fake certs but I've been told there are unethical registered breeders out there. Hence I think it is important to get to know ur breeders from cat shows, check around on their reputation. I guess I'm lucky to gave come across and become friends with really good and reputable breeders.

On legalities, I believe there isn't a real body tht regulates issues on cats. As far as I know, should one get cheated by an unreputanle breeder, word just goes around and the community is very small but not really a 'feline police' around unfortunately.

So it's just up to us to be aware and be very careful when getting a cat. Cos even if we get a cat less than 500, losing the cat due to medical reasons, or ending up paying tonnes on medical fees due to bad breeding or bad maintenance by the
previous owner is just as painful to the buyer...

saya sayang kucing bengal saya nii.. saya teringin nak cari sekor lg (betina) tp rm x cukup lg..saya teringin cari yg ada rosatted.. nampak real mcm harimau. en azlan x minat ka nak bela yg ada rosatted. bleh x en azlan email gambar kucing betina yg kat avatar tu.. saja je.

kalo tgk my tommy secara depan, nampak mcm maine coon. but bile tgk pattern badan dia, nampak mcm bengal. so, i'm not sure ler die breed pe. hihi :D
