Mira and her 3 siblings were found in the PJ Old Town Taman Selera's public toilet. Someone had also left the water faucet running thus these babies were literally drowning. They were probably only a few days old. Sofie took them home but unfortunately one of them didn't make it. Two of Mira's siblings is with another rescuer/fosterer and they are currently listed for adoption as well.
Mira was fostered by someone else who thought she looked so adorable that she named her Dolly. They were taken back from fosterer for a routine vet check and was left with us for some monitoring. However a few days later, Mira developed a very high fever, her eyes were all glazed up, brought to vet and diagnosed with coccidia. She was given an injection for her fever and dewormed. I took over her fostering. For the next two days, vet visit, drip, no movement, force fed milk...at this point we were already dreading for the worst. On the third morning when I braved myself to take my first peek at her, I was rewarded with 2 clear eyes looking straight at me:) she had finally used her litter and ate some kibbles. And that was why I renamed her Mira, short for miracle!
She is now a bundle of energy, fearless and is ready for her first vaccination (due next week or thereabouts). She has a cute long tail that spiraled at the end (it won't straighten). She is super adorable. Will play until she is very very tired before she naps unless you 'force nap' her by 'locking' her up in a room :) She loves to kacau my 12 year old cat and when she get hissed or growled at, she just 'make don't know'. When she's finally too tired, she may come looking for you with eyes half closed and snuggle up, otherwise you may notice things has gone quiet and find her napping somewhere she deems fitting. Your house certainly will never be the same again:)
