This male cat has been coming to our house for about six months. We thought he might be lost as he is quite tame. We have asked around but no one has claimed him. We have been feeding him and also had him neutered. Not sure about his age but vet says about 4 or 5 years old. He is a friendly fellow and we named him "Washimo" which in Japanese means something like "Me too", as he always asks to be fed when we feed some other strays.

Hi, just wondering if outdoor stray cat will be able to adapt to be indoor cat? (have seen your profile and feel like you're an experienced person so thought of checking)

Hi Lee. We haven't let him in the house although he has tried to come in a few times. So a bit uncertain how he will adjust. What I observe is he seems domesticated. we can pick him up without protest for example. Probably will fit in best with an owner who has no other cats at home as he can be a bit bossy when other cats are around.

ok. i was thinking that if you want to take Washimo on a trial basis, that's fine. If he doesn't want to st indoors, you can bring him back. whenever you are ready
