Lucy came early this year heavily pregnant and gave birth to 3 kittens in January. She was adopted together with one of her kittens in August by a couple with two young children. She was returned together with her kitten today on the first day of phase 3 pandemic recovery with the opening of nearly all jobs and businesses i.e., 1/10/21. The reason that was given for the return was that the couple's two young children could not be monitored while playing with her and her kitten and they tend to pull the cats' tails causing them to get scratched although it is likely they were adopted only as a diversion due to the lockdown. Lucy is a devoted mum and very protective of her kitten. She is an extremely good ratter and was able to rid my place of any rats that managed to get in during her time here.
