Let me introduce you to Taj! He is a gentle and lovable 3 year old boy who is looking for his forever home. There is nothing he enjoys more than his food. Good food, good mood :)

Why is he looking for his forever home? I first saw him at a mamak a long time ago. As it turns out, my regular mamak is also his regular mamak. Every morning at 8:30am on the dot, he strolled out of a residential area to visit nearby stores in the hope that he would get some food. Honestly, he didn't look good: bald spots behind his ears, scratches everywhere, and boney. One Sunday afternoon I was able to lure him into my carrier. This was just in time because a few days later there was heavy rain and terrible flooding. Such a lucky guy!

After a checkup, it turns out that Taj is FIV positive and FeLV positive. These are two feline viruses that weaken the immune system. Humans cannot be infected with it. Clearly, Taj cannot continue to live outdoors near “his” mamak. So we are looking for a loving home for him. He seems to like this idea as well, because he likes to cuddle up in his own box to sleep, has no problems using the litter box, looks forward to his regular meals, uses his scratching board and likes to play with his new cat toys. He loves head scritches and likes to throw himself on the floor in front of you for attention and petting. He is a good natured cat who hasn't even hissed yet.

Taj is neutered, dewormed and vaccinated. We also had him tested twice for FIV and FeLV and had blood work done. Our really great vet said that he can live a happy indoor cat life. We hope someone will open their heart and home to Taj so he can finally get the love and home he deserves.
