-- Origins --
Checkers came to our doorstep on 3rd January 2022. She looked hungry so we gave her some food and she stayed outside our front door the whole night. She was friendly and not scared of us so we assumed she could be someone's pet who may have lost her way. We took her in and have been trying to find her owner ever since, with no luck after almost 2 months. We're hoping to find her a good family. Could that be you?
-- Personality --
For as long as we've known her, Checkers has been a brave girl. She's not afraid of the hair dryer, vacuum cleaner and was even OK with fireworks. She's energetic, loves heights, loves to play, is food-motivated, and gets along with other cats.
Every trip to the vet has been a breeze with her. She didn't make noise in the carrier and was very calm and cooperative while being examined by the vet and getting her vaccine.
Checkers is a smart girl and she picks up on things relatively quickly. She is litter-trained and not picky with food. She loves toys and her favourites are balls and small mice.
