[For Adoption] 10 months old female (spayed) Shih Tzu x Telomian named Summer is looking for a good home! She was given up by ex-owner and fostered by Pooch Palace and now we are fostering Summer to look for a good home!

We had a few who were interested in her but did not follow up/ chose others to adopt. So, we hope she can finally find a good home. She is very playful with active dogs but is timid when meeting new humans. She freezes when a new human goes near her (but no aggression whatsoever) but warms up after a while. She will do well in a home with fewer visitors and humans who give her space to earn her trust. She won't do well in a home with many screaming kids hugging her upon meeting her. It will stress her out.

Summer is quiet, gentle, sweet with people she trusts and still learning where to do her business but progressing well. She is friendly with most dogs (but fears some dogs) but timid with new humans. She is 8.8kg (maximum size) and she has soft fur and minimal shedding (but not completely hypoallergenic). Her fur doesn't grow any longer.

She has separation anxiety and is alright to be left with dog(s) she gets along with or a human. She fears being completely alone without dog or human and will bark and attempt to escape. She even whines, chews door or fence trying to escape if she is all alone.

1. Describe your experience handling dogs (if any). Do you currently have other dog(s) with you?
2. Are your family members supportive of the adoption and will be patient with Summer?
3. How much time can you spend with Summer daily?
4. Kindly describe the environment you will provide her with, including where she will be staying, what food will she be given, etc.
5. Are you agreeable to initial house visit and sending photos/ videos of her to us every now and then after adoption?

Request for PM will be ignored. Adoption fee of RM200 to Pooch Palace to support part of spaying fee, health check and vaccination. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to meet her. We will choose based on the answers you provide. If you do not bother to answer the questions, please do not expect any reply from us.
