khommy11   Sep 15th 2010 at 9:29PM HI Lyn...i hope you don't find i'm interfering unnecessarily but i'd just like to say that you can still keep these cats and your baby healthy if you groom them often (i groom my 3 cats twice a day...with a towel wipe to pick up any stray hair. i am allergic to dust so it is necessary that i keep them dust- and hair-free) and keep their litter place clean (clear their waste often instead of say, once a week). My brother and I grew up with dogs n cats all around us (even as newborns!) and my mother made sure they were clean and groomed always. so we never really developed any allergy. Babies are stronger than most people think :) unless of course you truly don't want these kitties...it's a pity though. their so cute :) just my 2 cents. sorry if i've offended you.
