Mixed breed female puppy found at Taman Serangkai/Happy Garden (Old Klang Road) on 18 August 2014. I'm currently looking for short-term fosterers to help rehabilitate her before putting her up for adoption.
Scruffy is human and dog friendly, docile and walks really well on a leash. She's got a scruffy snout (hence the name) and medium - long fur. She also understands basic commands like sit and come (She even held out a paw when I said 'paw'!). She also uses the loo during her walks. She's estimated to be 7/8 months old.
These could be just Day-1 behavior, but she gets a little anxious when you leave her alone, but soon calms down on her own. She patiently keeps watch until you return, and when you do, her tails does this adorable 'helicopter-propeller' spin that would just get you giddy with joy. Judging from her behavior, there could be a possibility that she is someone's lost/abandoned pet. If she is indeed someone's lost/abandoned pet, there's a chance that it happened a while back, as her nails are rather long. I've checked for missing/lost dog notices, but did not find one that matches her.
I believe Scruffy deserves a chance a finding her forever home (all dogs/cats do), but as much as I want to, I'm not able to do this by myself. If you wish to help, even in the smallest deed of buying her a pack of dog food/a leash, or even bringing her for a session of grooming, or her vaccination/deworming, it would be just wonderful. If you're keen on fostering for a week or two, it would help immensely as well.
The plan here is to basically get as much help as possible to prepare Scruffy for adoption. The idea of short-term fostering is to just let us all work together, all for the best interest of the dog.
