I came across a beautiful dog lying at the road side near centre point in bandar utama three sundays ago. When I approached him, I realised he could not stand as his right leg was injured.

Managed to transport him to the Vet. X ray showed that he suffers from pelvic bone and tail
bone fracture. The pelvic bone fracture, according to the vet, will heal by itseslf but the tail may have to be amputated.

There WAS no anal tone, hence he couldn't
control his bowel movement. Currently he is still in the animal hospital and besides conventional treatment, he is also
undergoing acupuncture treatment.

I am so happy to hear from the vet few days ago that the anal tone is coming back. So this mean the possibility of him regaining control of his bowel movement is very high.

He is a very clean conscious dog. Keeps on licking himself and can paw whenever you extend your hand! He will give the other paw when u ask for "Another Paw"!

The potential owner has to be
very committed as it may be quite messy if the treatment is
not successful. (I think he will recover fully) But he is of a very good nature and estimated to be less than a year old. A waste if we have to
put it down.

Attached are pictures of this beautiful dog. I called him

Such a gorgeous dog. Was he involved in an accident or a case of abuse?
advocates   Nov 11th 2009 at 12:22AM
The vet suspects that he was ran over by a car. sad huh...

Yes pandalovers, he is actually very clean. Just returned from visiting him at the hospital. Fed him hard boiled egg, steam pork and beef liver! He got a huge appetite..gosh! Really hope someone will adopt him cause he is really a lovely dog.

I can tell he is very very adorable!

Is he still up for adoption? I'm looking to adopt an adult dog and I should have plenty of time with him since I'm a student doing my postgraduate.

Hi Isegail, thanks for the enquiry. Yes he is stilll up for adoption. I just return from visiting him. He stood throughout the 10 mins and when he was eating. Vet says in a few weeks time he will be running!!!

Seriously, he is one of the best natured dogs i have ever come across. I am sure he will be extremeely loyal and affectionate to his owner.

Please call me at if you wish to see legacy before making a decision to adopt him. I can make the necessary arrangement on a no obligation basis. I just want to find him a good home!
Just an update. I visited legacy today at the Vet. My my...he can stand on all four legs now and very excited to see me. Keeps on barking and he can walk around! Hope Legacy finds a good home!
Legacy is doing well. He has been transferred to Dr. Edmund's clinic in puchong upon request by Malaysian Dog Deserve Better. He will now be vaccinated and his tail amputated. Then ready for adoption!

Hi, how is legacy doin? has he been adopted yet? his tail realy gone?
advocates   Jan 12th 2010 at 2:36PM
Hi Shaveen,

He is doing fine. Still in clinic waiting for adoption. We decided to leave the tai intact. It would depend on the new owner whether to amputate it. On a positive note, Dr. Suzana, the acupunturist is quite optimistic that legacy may regain the use of his tail...Thanks for the inquiry.
