Panda was a strong and lively stray cat who lives in my neighbourhood, also a big bully to other stray cats in the neighbourhood.
We see him almost everyday, because he’s always going around waiting to get fed by the residents. Panda is very well known for having a big appetite. Until one day, my mom and I decided to take him in when he was found lethargically sick.
We took him in to find out that he stopped eating and his drinking behaviour changes. He started drinking more and more water and less intake on food. He became really inactive and slowly he stopped taking in water and food. We brought him to the vet and he was diagnosed with kidney failure. On the very first day when he admitted to the veterinary, we were told by the vet that he only had 50% of chance to live because his kidneys weren’t doing good at all and reasons why he’s fallen into kidney disease was from all the food that he ate for the past years when he was wandering on streets.
We hoped the best for him and miracle happened! He was slowly recovering and got better over days receiving drips at the vet. He’s back at home with us after spending a total of 8 days being in the vet. Thank Goodness!
My mom and I are trying to raise some funds for Panda. We greatly appreciate your help and kindness. Thank you to everyone who’s willing to contribute to Panda’s vet bill. I am sure to let Panda know how many good people out there are trying to raise funds for him.
Lastly,
Thank you!
