This dog, named BB is found near my work place. I saw him with wound at his reproductive organ and I assumed it was TVT after asking from two veterinarians' opinion online. He looked emaciated and is extremely week. I asked for help online and I got suggested to take him to the vet by Pet Taxi, and so I did. He was sent to VPAC Vet at Kuchai Lama at first. Did the blood test and ultrasound. Doctor said his condition wasn't looking that great and because his liver is all covered in cancer cells. He only has a slim chance to survive even if he takes the chemo injection. Doctor suggested me to put him to sleep and I refused to give up, not this soon at least. So I transferred him to UVH in UPM for a detailed check up (blood test, ultrasound, x-ray, and took sample of the wound and the bumps he has on his body, tick fever test).

Doctor in UVH has stated that his TVT is an extremely rare case as the cells are so aggressive that it has spread through his whole body, TVT is highly curable but with his condition like this doctor said he still has a fighting chance as he is still eating, drinking and moving. But the chemo injection is too pricey at UVH,UPM so I transferred him to KM Vet at Batu Caves. The price is RM110 per jab as compared to RM25O-RM300 per jab from UVH,UPM. BB has done his first chemo session, he is doing fine so far.
As for the medical fees, from the first clinic (VPAC VET) the total was RM529. From UVH,UPM the total fee was RM841.

As for the clinic he is currently staying (KM VET) The doctor estimated the cost of the treatment and one month of staying in the ward is RM1700-1800.

All together has already exceeded RM3000, which is a huge amount. I truly hope people can donate for the sake of BB's well being. I have never rescued a dog but I really want to help this poor doggie.

Thank you so much.
