Cilantro (female, about 8wks old now) was found abandoned together with her 6 siblings by the roadside around 2 November.
A group of dog lovers in the neighborhood including myself were feeding them and giving them daily care since then while looking for forever homes for them. (Unfortunately, none of us can foster them as we all have more than a few dogs/cats and/or live in a small apartment...)
However, some residents had made complaints and DBKL showed up to take them away on 9 November morning while some of my fellow caregivers were there feeding the pups. So we had to transfer them to a pet hotel immediately.
While they were boarding at the pet hotel, all of them, except Cilantro were lucky enough to find good homes. So we had no choice but to transfer her again to a veterinary clinic on a temporary basis.
We must find her a forever home very very soon; otherwise we might have to release her on the street, knowing that she might not make it out there, as we really don't know what else to do...
She has been dewormed, frontlined and vaccinated.
She is very active and playful and has most beautiful brindle coat! Unfortunately, part of her left eye is covered by an overgrown membrane due to a suspected early injury or ulcer (according to the vet) but it's not affecting her eye sight at all! She is still unbelievably adorable, loving, smart and sweet and will definitely make a great companion ❤️
