Chester is a loving and slightly goofy ginger female cat, with a cute stubby tail. She is human-socialised and fully ready for a home. Chester has also learned how to walk with a harness on.
She was mistaken as a male cat when she was taken off the streets on 15 June 2019 and brought to the vet for a neuter. The vet said, "The cat is a girl!" And so she got a spay instead. However, her name Chester got stuck and we decided to keep the name.
She started appearing at my apartment block about a week before the Hari Raya Puasa holidays. At first, I thought she could be someone's cat who was let out to roam because she's so friendly. But after longer observation and saw how she was always hungry and desperate for human attention, she was brought in and taken to the vet. Seeing how manja she is, I decided to try find her a home of her own who will give her the attention she needs.
Confident and people-friendly. No socialisation process needed. She will make herself at home immediately.
Good-natured and easy-going.
Vets who have seen her often commented that she is an easy cat to handle.
Has a loud purr.
Loves to be brushed.
Litter box trained. She is a fastidious about covering everything. If there is a cloth or a toy outside the box, she will also toss them in to cover her poop.
Spayed on 15 June 2019
Vaccinated, dewormed and de-flead on 15 June 2019
Booster vaccination shot done on 14 July 2019. Her vaccination is now good for a whole year.
Her adopter will get her vaccination card and medical details.
Weight on 14 July 2019 - 4.6kg
She could be adopted independently, but it would be ideal if Chester could be adopted together with Dasher: https://www.petfinder.my/pets/94409/
They are not related, but they give each other a lot of comfort. Dasher sees Chester as his mama and Chester gives Dasher the confidence he needs. They are playmates and second-chance family brought together by fate.
By adopting them together, you can be sure that you could leave them alone at home when you are at work and not worry about them getting lonely. They basically entertain and take care of each other.
As my phone is mostly on silent, kindly send me a text with your details and reasons for adopting her, and I will get back to you.
Thank you for showing an interest in Chester!
