TanTan is a docile and very gentle girl, always cautious and observant compared to her other siblings. With warm blue eyes, soft short-medium coat of beige, brown and orange, she's very emotive and loving when she warms up to anyone. She is the closest to her feline mother of the litter and sleeps close to her siblings at night. She loves chasing rolling plush balls and scratching on pieces of cardboard. Her favourite toy is the springy mouse on a stick. She can jump and climb as high as counter tops and washing machines and loves watching her other two siblings, Tigger and Tippy play and chase each other. She is also very quick on her feet and can dash very swiftly. She is always very apt in finding the tiniest hiding spaces anywhere.
TanTan can be quite shy and is easily startled by loud noises. But when stroked gentley and purred at, she purrs back lovingly. She also responds to soft belly rubs by kicking back with her hind legs and grabbing your hand to nibble. She enjoys a tiny scratch below the chin and the sides of her belly and will allow you to pat her while she eats during mealtimes. She's the darling of the three and we sometimes call her the "Little Lady" of the lot. Her other nickname is "Bulby face" because of her chubby cheeks.
TanTan is toilet trained from very early on and will only do No.1 and No.2 in a tray of cat litter. Like her feline mother, she is constantly cleaning and grooming herself. She no longer depends on her mother's milk and is fully capable of chewing on dry kibbles and other snacks and treats you can have her try. She is fed 3-4 times daily with plenty of fresh clean water and is extremely happy playing with fluffy balls, toy mice, cardboard boxes and just about anything that moves and makes a sound.
She is quite a loveable character and we love her to bits. We really hope that she finds a good forever home where she is loved and cared for as much as she was with us.
Back story: Her feline mother is a stray cat of mixed breed that we look after. She was pregnant earlier this year and we decided to take care of the kittens when she gave birth to them and to put them up for adoption when they were old enough to be on their own. This is her first pregnancy and she was healthy when she gave birth to the litter of three kittens in April 4th. TanTan is the second oldest of the three.
TanTan, Tippy and Tigger are the three kittens from the same litter. They are all up for adoption on the PetFinder.com website.
