Momo was looking for food nearby a hawker centre, she didn’t run when I approach her. So I pet her and gave her a can of wet food, she ate it so lady like, slowly and seems to be enjoying the food, unlike most strays who would normally gobble up any food provided.
She didn’t run/shy away, she made eye contact, she didn’t flinch when I pet her the first time (most strays do). During our journey to the vet, she didn’t put up a fight, no hissing or defensive act, sitting quietly in the carrier, just curious and confuse on what is going-on. Being on the street is not easy, so she has a superficial wound on her neck, however Vet says nothing serious and will be healed in time.
Momo has this sadness and uncertainty look when you look her in the eye. With her soft personality, I believe Momo should be an indoor cat, she might not be smart/fast enough to keep herself from harm. Please give her a chance to feel what it’s like to have a home, a place she can sleep safe and sound at night, no more searching through streets for food that might or might not be there. You will have one more reason to come home to, knowing she is waiting for you, looking forward to cuddle and manja with you.
Vet has done basic check up on her, deflea and deworm her, she will be vaccinated and spayed. Momo must be 100% in-door in a cat-safe home but not caged. Adopter must agree to terms on living condition, medical & annual vaccine, life-long commitment & periodical updates for rescuer.
If you feel that you are the right person, please contact me with details about yourself & your experience with cats. Thank you for adopting.
