Sootica is a tiny all-black kitten with a white patch on her chest and belly who just LOVES to be loved. She was plucked from the streets when she crossed paths with one of our teammates. Sooty was so manja and so small, we couldn't bear to leave her on the streets.

As you can see from the videos, she loves to just roll around and be touched and petted, even belly rubs! Sootica is chatty, confident and manja. She is healthy, and has been defleaed, dewormed, litter-trained and vaccinated once (she will need two more vaccinations over the next two months).

As Sootica will also need to be socialized as she gets older, she will be available for a pair adoption or to a home with an existing cat. She'd be great for any family, even families with small kiddos.

We do have a short application process. We also insist that all cats adopted from us be indoor cats and spayed/neutered when old enough. If you would like to learn more about our work, please check us out on Instagram: @ allergic rescuers kl or on Facebook: Allergic Rescuers KL. Thank you for considering adoption!

Hi, just wanted to find out why the cat needs to be with another cat?

This is because kittens raised alone don't learn bite inhibition, and they learn to use their teeth and claws to communicate. Only through wrestling with a friend do they learn what kind of force (if at all) is appropriate to use. This is for the safety of you and your family (as cats get older, their bites hurt!) and also for the long-term well-being of the cat as part of your family, as it's really hard to train adult cats out of this behavior and adopters often want to give up the cat, citing behavioral problems, which could have been prevented in the first place.
