Guinea Pigs For Adoption (Bernice Chee And Donovan Chins)

Bernice and Donovan are our volunteers. They will be migrating soon and they are taking their cats along, but cannot bring their guinea pigs.

Their 4 guinea pigs are female, and Bernice and Donovan are looking a loving home for them.

Dear Dr. Chan,

All 4 of them are female. The oldest is the pure white one and she is about 5 years old. She was the first female of the pack (we had 2 other boys back then) and is the “Mommy” of the pack and named accordingly.
Delilah is the one with the black colored face (she’s the one on the left on photo #1). She’s Mommy’s daughter and she’s about 4 plus years old.
Hannah and Barbarella are the 2 youngest ones and are Delilah’s daughters. Hannah is quite shy but Barbarella is more outgoing.
None of the 4 girls are spayed because we now only have a completely female pack. They have not received any vaccinations because there is no need to vaccinate guinea pigs.
They basically live on a basic diet of both dry and wet food and of course, Timothy Hay. For wet food they usually have cucumbers in the morning and either spinach (bayam) or kangkung in the evening.
They basically live on a table top and have never been caged. It’s not well know to the general public but they do not need to be caged and it’s recommended that they not be caged (actually no animal should be in my humble opinion).
Generally, we would like to find a new home for them with someone who has the passion and love for them. Although people think that guinea pigs are easy to take care of, they do need some maintenance in terms of cleaning their pen. We clean their pen twice a day after their morning and evening meals. Also, we would like for them not to be used for breeding purposes because Mommy has already given birth to 2 sets of piglets and Delilah has given birth to 1. I don’t think either one of them will survive another birth.
Please ask whomever is interested in giving them a new home to contact us and we will see how it works out.
Thank you
Don (012-4247112)
Bernice (012-4827112)
