Dear Supporters and Volunteers of ACRES,The ACRES Wildlife Rescue Team seeks your help on illegal poaching along the river between Bendemeer Road and Kallang Bahru, near River Vista, opposite a kindergarten.A member of public called ur hotline and reported that, often on Sundays, 3 Chinese men in a green polo shirts (possibly their uniforms from a nearby factory) have been catching monitor lizards by the canal. The lizard is then handed to another man who cycles past, picks up the lizard and cycles off.If you witness such an act, please take videos and photos, and call us on our hotline at 9783 7782 immediately. Then please email us the videos/photos to info@acres.org.sg and we’ll be able contact AVA with the evidence.The most important details to note:1) Their faces in the act of removing the wild animal and bringing away from the canal.2) Their use of trap types (a cage, a string noose or any tool they might be using, such as a knife).3) The company name on the polo shirt.4) The colour of the bicycle.Thank you very much for your keen eyes and kind heart.
