Happy New Year From Best Friends
Tweet |
As 2015 comes to a close, I am taking a moment to pause and reflect over the last year, and I am truly amazed at the incredible things that happened. Each year, it seems our work together grows bigger and bigger, and that means more lives saved than ever before.
Our team is working hard to tabulate all the numbers from our work across the country, but the early returns show that Best Friends and our more than 1,400 No More Homeless Pets Network partners have adopted, fixed and cared for more animals than ever before. It’s been another banner year, with incredible growth, and that’s thanks to you! Very soon, in an upcoming blog I will be sharing the most important highlights of those 2015 results with you, so stay tuned for some of the details of the real world, lifesaving impact that you have made possible.
Personally, 2015 has given me the opportunity to visit the frontlines of our work around the country and to meet many of you personally, whether in New York, Chicago, Texas, Utah, California or Georgia, where I was privileged to address the 2015 Best Friends National Conference, or another of the communities to which I traveled over the past year. The scale and scope of our work and our movement grows daily, and I and my fellow founders are privileged to witness the unfolding realization of the vision that launched Best Friends more than 30 years ago.
2015 may be drawing to a close, but there’s still time for one last act of kindness. Click here to make your tax-deductible gift to the animals now and then go celebrate! Together, we can make 2016 the year that millions of dogs and cats leave shelters for good and find loving homes.
Together, we will Save Them All.
