Jasmine Ee was our helper for today’s Wesak fundraising booth and we both started out at 7am with me driving. Coincidentally, both of us are totally hopeless with directions (!) and also we both have no luck with Waze or Google Maps (how coincidental is that?) but thanks to a whole day of looking at the “Earth” map on Google, I was able to memorise the landmarks and we made our way to Sambodhi Buddhist Association without a single hitch!
The committee of Sambodhi had prepared a very generous booth for us. We express our most grateful thanks to them for inviting us to participate in their Wesak celebrations so that we can promote our work, raise some awareness of the services that we provide and also raise some funds for the animals.
We sold tshirts, soap, toothpaste, shampoo as well as the handpainted paper weights too, The members of the society were very supportive and we are truly grateful for this.

We only brought 4 bags and sold the two above (the Golden Monkey and the Cat with Blue Bow). Photo courtesy of the kind lady who bought the bags, the monkey is for her niece and the cat is for herself.
These two are still up for sale, if anyone is interested.
(A minimum of RM30 for Tabs and a minimum of RM40 for the floral one. Please add RM6 for Poslaju charges.)
We packed up and closed at 1.00pm. And, made our way home without a single hitch!! Maybe the days of me getting lost all over are coming to an end?
