COVEN OF CATS ADOPT TINY WHITE “PACKAGE” LEFT AT THE DOOR

“My dear Laura, just ten minutes ago, another package was left here,” Bosnian rescuer Danka Kantar explains to Harmony Fund Founder Laura Simpson. “This is the fifth little dog someone left in the last few days.”

Although her little rescue center is bursting at the seams, Danka had no choice but to welcome the newest arrival, an emaciated little dog whom she has named Done. And best of all, the cats have taken a particular liking to their new friend.

“All my cat are very good,” Danka said. “They immediately accept a new member of the family, immediately get to know the new dog or cat and it’s almost like it has always been with us.”

Harmony Fund is now sponsoring veterinary care for Done and for the 40 cats and 6 small dogs who reside here. They all sleep together at night and play together during the day. Through our rescue programs thousands of animals including this group will receive food and veterinary care this month.
