REUNITED, & IT FEELS SO GOOD

At SPCA, we encounter many cases and stories every day. One of our favourite stories has to be when lost pets are reunited with their owners.

Yesterday, a kind member of public approached our reception counter with a golden-coloured toy poodle. He shared that he found it in Jurong and thought to hand it over to us, so we could help find the dog’s rightful owner.

With the power of social media, the dog’s family found out that their dog was at SPCA and rushed to our shelter today to bring her home. The look of pure joy and relief on the family’s faces and the excitement the pretty poodle, Mina, showed when she saw her family was amazing!

This reunion was paw-ssible thanks to the watchful eyes of the people who found her, and knew to bring her to us.

We would also like to take this opportunity to advise for pet owners to microchip your pets, and to register your microchip and personal details with the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) of Singapore. For more details about microchipping your pets, you may refer to our website: http://www.spca.org.sg/petcare_details.asp?id=981.
