Some may be horrified to learn that Meimei was released. But reticulated pythons have been part of this sunny island from the very beginning.

Perhaps with action films, social media depictions and even the occasional wildlife documentary shot for dramatisation, snakes like pythons end up with a bad reputation. It’s time for reeducation.
