We Brought Our Interns To The Turtle Conservation ..

We brought our interns to the Turtle Conservation and Information Centre in Rantau Abang. There’s so much information in the centre, their exhibits are nicely done and there are a few selfie/wefie areas.

If you haven’t been, it’s a good place to learn about sea turtles and painted terrapins, as well as the threats that they face, conservation efforts taken by @dofmalaysia and the relevant legislation that are protecting these turtles.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
