The red junglefowl in a corner of Bishan can continue to be, well, as free as a bird thanks to residents of Sin Ming Court who overwhelmingly voted to not have them removed from the estate despite complaints of the noise caused by the free-roaming fowls.

For the first time, it was residents, and not the authorities, who got to decide the fate of their fine-feathered friends.
