To wrap up our series on #InternationalPrimateDay, check out this unusual looking primate – the Proboscis Monkey. It is another of our native species!

The most prominent feature would be their big nose which among males signify virility💪🏼

Bigger nose means better vocalisation, and thus better able to impress the females while intimidating other males!

You can spot them in Borneo as they are endemic to that area. Trust us, it’s a sight to behold if you’ve ever got the chance to spot one 😍
