Over 820 million people suffer from hunger, even more so suffer from being overweight and obese 😞

World Food Day not only aims to raise awareness on tackling global hunger, but also aims to promote healthy and nutritious diets for everyone! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

As we all know, food is one of the many basic necessities for a human being to survive, moreover a nutritious diet! All of us play important roles and we can all collectively help in this cause 💪🏻.

So here are some tips for you to adopt a healthy diet:

🍍 Consume more vegetable 🥗, fruits 🍎 and even nuts !

🍍 Say no 🙅‍ to processed foods 🍟 and drinks. For starters, you could reduce your intake of carbonated drinks !

🍍 Swap things up: Have the occasional brown rice instead of white rice 🍚 for more nutritional benefit! This includes wholemeal bread too! 🍞

🍍 Fats: Good or bad? 🤔 Unsaturated fats (commonly found in fish 🐟 and nuts) are recommended in a healthy diet, however be aware of trans-fat and saturated fats found in fried foods 🍤 and butter!
