Did you know SPCA Singapore sees about 5 cases of cats falling from height every week? That’s about 250 animals a year and half of them die on the spot.

On BBC World News today, we commented on high-rise syndrome and characteristic injuries cats face when falling from height.

Cats that survive the fall are often in shock and left with traumatic injuries that involve fractured limbs, palate, pelvis or spine and blood in their lungs.
