Poor Little Chewee Is A Homeless Dog Our Animal Re..

Poor little Chewee is a homeless dog our animal rescue officers brought to one of our mobile clinics to be sterilised. We noticed she had a cut on her foot so severe, the bone was exposed, so she’s being looked after at our hospital now.

Vulnerable dogs like Chewee are why we created the Emergency Response Team. We want to always be there for homeless animals who need urgent care when disaster finds them, but we can’t do it alone. Will you join us? Click here: https://emergency.soidog.org/ert

Every day we rescue dogs like this 2-year-old, who most likely tangled with a fisherman’s net and lost. Still others fall ill, or have been injured by vehicles, caught in traps…there are countless dangers on Thailand’s streets for homeless dogs and cats.

Chewee is one of around 1,100 rescued animals at our shelter. We are currently near our capacity.

She is safe now, but sadly, we could not save her leg, which had to be amputated. She also has heart worms, which if not caught in time and treated properly can be deadly.

Because of compassionate animal lovers like you, we are able to save hundreds of homeless dogs every year from lives of misery or tragic deaths, and give them new, safe, happy lives – either at our shelter or in forever homes we find for them.

The relationship almost always starts with an emergency like Chewee’s. Will you please join the Emergency Response Team now with a small monthly pledge? Click here to donate: https://emergency.soidog.org/ert

Thank you so much for caring about dogs like our sweet Chewee.
