Phangan Has Never Known The Comfort Of A Loving Ho..

Hi there, my name’s Phangan and I am Soi Dog’s 🌟Dog of the Week🌟

As you can see from my picture, I look like your typical Thai street dog. Well, that is probably because I am. I have spent my life on the streets of Phuket. You can’t imagine the things I have seen and the things I have done to survive. Avoiding busy roads and other streets dogs, eating rotten food and drinking mucky water… and that is only the half of it. Life on the streets was tough, but I managed to get by, until one day I found myself with a gaping wound on my genital area. If it had been left any longer, infection would have set in and the situation would have been fatal, but luckily someone saw the wound and immediately called Soi Dog.

The vets were able to clean and close my wound, leaving me with a small scar. I don’t mind though. I think it makes me look tough! I now live at Soi Dog, which is like night and day compared to life on the streets. The volunteers come and walk me each day, give me treats and let me play with toys. What a life! I love it here, but I know Soi Dog is always operating at full capacity and needs room to help more dogs in need. I am thankful for my rescue and hope that someone will adopt me so another dog can be saved, as I was.
