Update of Emmie (eng version 👇)

好消息 ~ Emmie妹妹的情况稳定了很多 🐶

感激我们配合诊所的医疗团队，把Emmie照顾的好好，即使在病房也有玩具玩，让这些年幼的病毛们不孤独冰冷 ❤

她恢复胃口会吃狗粮了，担心折断的骨头又再刺穿肌肉，医生把那只脚固定包扎着，把之前骨头刺穿的洞缝了起来，伤口情况良好

腹腔的脓水也排了出来，接下来的五天仍会继续观察伤势 (留言区有探病小Emmie的影片 ~ 她会和人撒娇了 😘

为了保全她那只后脚，医生做了很多努力，真心的感激，谁也不希望她年纪小小就需要截肢 …

非常谢谢每一位帮助Emmie的朋友，会再继续跟进她的近况，为小Emmie继续加油、加油

Good news! Little Emmie’s condition has now stabilized a lot 🐶

We are grateful to our panel vet who take such a good care of Emmie. Even in the ward, there are toys to play with, so that these young fur patients are not lonely ❤

Emmie regained her appetite and would eat kibbles now. Vet was worried that the broken bone would protrude out again. So they immobilized the leg by putting on sticks and also sutured the wound pierced by the broken bone. The wound is granulating well.

The pus at chest to abdomen area has also been drained out, and will need to continue monitoring her condition in the next five days (there is a video of us visiting Emmie in comments section)

In order to secure her hind foot, the vet team made a lot of efforts and we’re sincerely grateful for that, no one wants her to be amputated at such a young age …

Thanks to every friend who donated to Emmie, we will continue to follow up with you her current condition, hope each new day brings you closer to a full and speedy recovery, Emmie!

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
