Ready for another happy story? ☺️☺️☺️

Ishbel’s story: We adopted Ishbel (Foxy at the time) in April 2018 when she was about 3 months old. She was handicapped (most likely from birth) with joint problems in her back legs. She had to have two surgical procedures in Langkawi before she travelled to Germany in May 2018 with a good friend of ours. She went to hydrotherapy for several months and now she is a (mostly) healthy, happy dog. Whilst we go to work she goes to a daycare centre where she socialises with lots of other dogs and they take really good care of her. She loves running off leash but still has a free spirit and needs to be convinced when you ask something from her. We love her and take her as she is… and would never exchange her for another dog! Langkawi dogs are the best! ❤️

The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary Foundation is set-up to receive, rehabilitate and care for neglected, abused and needy animals. The organization also runs the Langkawi Island Animal Clinic - a charity project aimed at the sterilization of the stray cat & dog population. Both are non profit ventures, staffed partly by volunteers and aimed at improving the lives of unwanted animals.
