Warning Graphic Images. A Truly Remarkable Recover..

WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES

A truly remarkable recovery‼We don’t know how Yemine found herself with such a shocking and enormous maggot-infested wound. We don’t know how long she had to live with the excruciating pain. What we do know is that she is alive and doing so much better now all because of animal lovers like you!

For much of her life, this beautiful girl lived at a local temple. This often provides animals with a certain degree of safety. Yemine, however, was not so lucky. She was either somehow caught up in an awful dog fight or barbarically attacked by someone.

The damage to Yemine’s neck was so severe she needed wound reconstruction surgery. As you can see, the procedure was a great success! And once she grows the rest of her fox-like fur back, there should be little sign of the injury at all.

We are also happy to report that Yemine’s tick-borne disease and anaemia are a distant memory too. But a recent check-up showed that her heart rate is a little slower than normal, so our vets will continue to monitor this.

Recoveries like this do not happen overnight. Dogs like Yemine need months or sometimes years of treatment and care to overcome their physical as well as their emotional damage. And with more than 1,200 animals at our shelter and no support from the Thai government, it’s no exaggeration to say that dogs like Yemine need you now more than ever. Please help us help them today: https://links.soidog.org/give-dogs-like-yemine-a-second-chance
