40 SECONDS AT ACRES: DAY 52 OF THE #CIRCUITBREAKER

As we get closer to the end of circuit breaker, our work continues and we are still admitting new animals.

Part of tonight’s clip is a special case of a #DogFacedFruitBat who came in with torn wings, unable to fly. After several weeks of cage rest and careful monitoring, the bat’s wing healed and has been released back to the wild this week.

We also took in a baby #Plantainsquirrel whose reunion efforts sadly failed. He and a juvenile #CommonPalmCivet from a similar situation are now under our care and #rehabilitation.

Here is to surviving 50 days of #CircuitBreaker and for safer days in the near future!
