SOS. This dog has finally been captured after a big struggle. According to one of the rescuers the neck wound is wet and smelly and he believes there are maggots. He said there was a wire tied around the dogs’s neck which eas cutting into the neck. They also hired someone for RM650, which we have to reimburse, to dart the doggo. One of the rescuers was also bitten in the knee by doggo. We have asked them to bring doggo to Gasing Veterinary Hospital. As the practise, we need to make a deposit of a minimum for admission. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
