Out of 7 species of sea turtles in the world, 4 is found nesting in our beaches.

Due to uncontrolled egg collection for consumption, Leatherback Turtles are considered functionally extinct. That is one of the major threats sea turtles and terrapins face.

.

With that being said it is extremely crucial for us to join forces and pledge against turtle egg consumption.
