We Are Dedicating The Month Of August To Our Rescu..

We are dedicating the month of August to our rescued black cats. #BlackCatsPurrever

It often takes black cats much longer to get adopted, so we wanted to highlight all of the reasons why they deserve to have the same chances as any other kitty.

Meanwhile, here is an update from one of our very special black cats who is now living in the UK.

Kerrigan was found in the grounds of a temple with a horrific wound on one of his hind legs. The injury was so severe that his leg had to be amputated. Fortunately, he recovered well but, despite his sweet nature and lovable personality, it took him almost two years to find his #foreverhome.

It was worth the wait for Kerrigan who now has a forever family who love him dearly. We recently received this update from his mum Victoria:

“Kerrigan’s been with us almost 18 months. He has settled in really well. He loves play fighting with his older brother Squeak and they love sharing dangly toys. They love to play ‘ambush’ together at each other. Along with his even older bigger brother Nemo, they are kindred spirits when it comes to their food and are always first in the queue to be fed!

He loves exploring the garden and three legs doesn’t stop him chasing his brothers at and dropping off the circular lawn at speed; having 1 less leg, no problem!

K is a very characterful kitty and always seeks us out for playtime and cuddles. We couldn’t imagine life without him. We love him very much.”
